      Hi noob,

I would choose MGS or SCGS over BPGH.

If your child was awarded EESIS, it will be indicated in the sealed S1 form that she was given together with her PSLE results slip.

My child scored 207 for PSLE. I don’t know which school to enrol for my child? I’m staying at Yew Tee, thought of Regent Secondary School but friends and neighbor said NO!!

Any comment on this few school?

        1. Dunearn Secondary School
        2. Greenridge Secondary School
        3. Kent Ridge Secondary School
        4. Tanglin Secondary School
        5. Teck Whye Secondary School
        6. ShuQun Secondary School
        7. Regent Secondary School[/color]

If I am not wrong, you are considering St. Patrick because they give you a chance to go into Express by affilliation?

Judging from the choices mentioned, I believe ACS Barker is nearer to your home then St. Patrick. However, ACS Barker would only offer your boy NA. Nonetheless this is still much better then Express in St. Patrick.

I know of at least 3 cases of NA student in ACS Barket make it to Express after Sec-1. If you care to share more about your boy, please http://singapore.math-chinese-tutor.com/contact-us/.

ACS Barker is a much better school… the principal is Mr Peter Tan formerly of ACS Jr, a very highly regarded principal. St Patrick has a high number of foreigners (rather rich) … one of the CCA that is rather popular there is like Golf… ACS has more on character building.

I stay at Cashew Rd, see pupils from Chestnut Drive and Assumption Sch very frequently. I won’t recommend these two schs for the fear of undesirable peer pressure unless family support and guidance is very strong. JMHO

Pupils from this sch like to hang around the HDB blocks nearby in the morning. I always wonder why they don't like to be in sch early? The Malays pupils are noisier. Chinese ones seem ok.
