          Hi,

Last june holidays i wanted to travel with Ds alone. But then as advised by fellow kiasu parents i went with him alone (without DH) joining in a small conducted tour group (12 pple) to melbourne.

I was very happy because my DS (9yr old) has shown much maturity without daddy around. He was able to take care of our things and was surprising quite mindful of me... :imcool:

At first i was worry travelling with him alone but after last trip i have gained much confidence and we already planning for our next trip alone free & easy. He wanted to go osaka's pokemon centre....so let see how is osaka's condition by end of the year.

If you are worry, why not try joining a small guided tour. Don't joined those 30-40 pple tour. Too crowdy for comfort. The one i went with was rather comfortable with 4 family only. There was a mother and daughter pair too in our group. They travelled alone too :hugs:

          Cheers !

Thanks for your reply. Where did you bring your child?

Do you think it is ok to travel to Hong kong disneyland with my 6 years old alone?

Hi, are you and your 6yo of the same gender? Dont think it's a good idea/ safe to let you 6yo visit a toilet by himself in crowed hongkong ( or even singapore!) This is already a (scary) task in itself.

Have any mummy ever travelled alone with your child to other country?

Yes , it was an experience I will not forget....

I took my 2 girls to USA for 3 weeks ....

It was to prove to myself , I can still live my life to the fullest as a Widow....

Anyway , we are a family that always travel by Free and Easy , even when late spouse is around...

So I am used of booking airtickets, hotels....

But this time around I was all alone , I had to handle my 2 girls and also passports/money/luggages...

Imagine a woman struggling to check in 2 big luggages ....

But I did it :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

Although now I am broke , but I will repeat this again when I save enough $$$$

Bravo!!!! That's the can do spirit. Your gals would have picked up survival skills from you during this trip. The fear of the unknown could be crippling. You have thrown away your crutches and are running your own marathon!!!

                      For your kind words...

Since I am broke , my elder girl is still having her last A level papers....

I have the intention to go to LEGOLAND Malaysia by Public Bus.....

Outside of my house there is a direct bus going in to JB....

But the catch is I have not been to Malaysia for the almost 8 years.... πŸ˜‰

So will try this new experience soon.... :imcool:
