GoodDad:
hi GoodDad,
5) Those who make it to 2nd round will attend a compulsory stayover camp after the final exam. (not sure how many days)
6) Those who make it will be notify by end of term 4.
Anyone know how many will be selected for year 1.I heard only about 10 will be selected in the end. Is this correct? From the list, there are about 69 students nominated.
It's a 3day-2nite camp in october.
The nominees will be exposed to school cheers, situation simulations to assess how they react individually as well as in a group, etc. If i m not wrong the camp should end with a short interview with seniors to do a match on the committee the nominee is suitable for).
In my son's yr, they recruited 13 Assistant prefects out of around 90 nominees.
cheers! -

Is it ture that if selected as Perfect, students have to or advice to give up one of the two CCA? -
GoodDad:
Not at all... many of them are taking prefectorial board as a 3rd CCA! My son have to give up one due to bad clashes (he is also taking RSP). So for him, it's Prefectorial Board, Uniform Group and his RSP.

Just to check, ACS only take in girls in year 5?

Many of the girls are from MGS, SCGS and Crescent. There are a few (don't think that many) from RGS and these ones do very well in IB.

I have been eyeing this school as 1st choice for my dd. However, just found out today that girls can't join till year 5 :faint:
That means she would need to go to another school for the first 4 years before applying for ACSI. In that case is ACSI still a good choice for girls?
And which IP school should she go (in the meantime) if we intend to keep the option open to apply to ACSI in year 5? NUS High?
She prefers co-ed schools.
Thanks for your advice :salute: -

If you like ACSI, you can consider MGS. IP program joining ACSI in Year 5
