《突然》和《忽然》nan.nan - thank you for your research. I am clearer now. I wondered about their differences because they seem to be interchangable ie the same. However, if they are the same then why 2 different words..I wanted to clarify my understanding. To me, this is very interesting and not so \"serious\". I may or may not explain the differences to my son..it depends on whether the need arise during our revision but I also will not go into 状语、定语、谓语、补语

《华文刊物》
我孩子的学校替学生订购的是<<知识画报》。不过，不是强制所有华文学生都得订购。今年的华文老师说不是每个同学都有订购，所以也没有在上课的时候要学生阅读这画报。一整年的画报，我替他file(how to say in chinese) 得漂漂亮亮,心里一直在纳闷浪费了订购的钱。现在受到的鼓舞，我把画报都拿出来，趁学校假期和孩子一起看，能看多少就多少。

我也想知道《大拇指》适合多大的孩子？文章有趣吗?

小学生华文报适合小三至小六学生。我的女儿的《大拇指》也是学校集体订阅的。

像nan.nan说的，‘我要订阅’的链接坏了，不能订阅。

我女儿的学校一向只帮他们订阅《好朋友》（还是《新朋友》？）。我希望明年的老师会帮学生订《大拇指》。普通的报摊真的没卖吗？好奇怪噢！

也许是供求的问题，学生多数是通过学校订阅，到报摊买的人就自然少，这样报摊也就不卖啦！

I have definitely seen copies of BIG THUMB on sale at Bedok NTUC Fairprice - 2 months back. Out of curiosity - I checked the price, it's 60 cents per copy (wanted to see if it is cheaper than what I pay the school for annual subscription :oops:). It's school hols now, so you'll probably have to wait till school term to find it there again.
