Summary
Marymount 14SC>2km should withdraw and go to other schools to avoid ballot.
Those SC>2km from CHIJ OQLOP should be at the school to monitor their chances. You would be booted out or going for ballot if someone stays within 2km turns up.
Canossa Convent can accomodate another 14SC.
St Gabriel can take in another 4SC.
Many places in Montford Junior, Bukit Timah, Stamford and Balestier Hill.

For SC, be rational and avoid ballot. If you are unlucky you will end up in P3. but you can per MOE website

Booklist for PHPPS is definitely wrong. They don't offer Malay and Tamil in the school. Looks more like a general list.

just checked. School said this year 2012 P1 pupils using "My Pals are here", but changing syllabus soon. Chinese syllabus also changing. She said don’t buy until booklist come out first.

Maths syllabus confirmed changed. This was announced just a few weeks ago.

I hope Chinese syllabus will change for the better. Though MOE emphasizes on speaking, listening and reading, the words in the textbooks can be pretty challenging for the kids to remember.

Popular staff said don’t buy Maths MPH P1 textbook & workbook(s) yet.
He said the new changed syllabus coming out - before year end sale, and the school’s booklist will sell the new Maths syllabus.
