Is Groupon a scam?

I waited for an hour before hearing the news. Luckily they are arranging for free shipment of my product as compensation.

Just received an email from the team that says item arriving on 10 Sep. more delay!

I am going to stop buying anything from Groupon. Just went to redeem my Toast Box purchase and I have to queue and wait for 1 hour before being served. Too much hassle for just a small saving. It used to be so easy to claim by using printing the voucher and claim it directly at the merchants. Now, it is not worth after they implement this new change.

I saw a huge crowd waiting for collection when I was there to collect my group in purchases. As mine were goods ( not vouchers ), I thought nothing of it. There were at least 30 customers before me. In total I waited for 30min.

HUH!!! Resturant also need to collect from counter? Last time I brought for Soup Resturant, Long John Silver, can claim directly from the resturant.

Yes, I have to exchange for Toast Box voucher at Groupon collection centre in Suntec.


However, the current BK deal by Groupon can be redeemed at BK branches. Don’t know why different process for different merchants. So, read in details the place to redeem.
