i’m gg to move into woodland by nxt March, by then my son will be 3 on the 1Jan2013.

May i know when shall i enroll him to K1? & is there a good childcare center that provide full day services & what is the cost? thanks.

There’s a Cuddlekids Playhouse at Blk 539 Woodlands Dr 16. I visited the place before but did not have a chance to use it. I like the physical setting, with the playground just outside the Centre. It’s a small centre which I prefer for young kids at this age. It also caters for after school care i think.


For K1 PCF registration, it usually is in Apr/May the year before if i remember correctly, even earlier than P1 registration! They usually put up banners. So it’s good to just register early.

For the question on child with autism, I’m wondering if you have considered the centres with Integrated Childcare Programme (ICCP)? The downside is there are so few of them. You may wish to speak with individual School Principals/teachers of the schools you shortlist and you can have a sense of how receptive and capable the school is for your child and whether the physical environment has good structures and autism-friendly practices in place.

My 2 cents worth, if u looking for a childcare, i would recommend Thinkerstar childcare, blk 701, woodlands drive, very responsible principal and teachers, and the teachers don’t just laze around unlike some childcare I’ve been to… My kid is there, I’m very satisfied!

I think blk715 creativeland childcare centre at admiralty is better than blk539 cuddle kids playhouses pte ltd at woodlands because lack of teachers to teach them ,very few educational visits.
