Yes, indeed gals seems to be better in the academic at this phase.
I am hoping he can clear all his papers... his test results all not out yet.

Your DS knows all his results already?

Sleepy : Good that the tr has offered remedial lessons - free tuition & save $$$ from gg to TLL.

Talking about Sci, I was discussing with DD on digestive sys which tr has provided worksheet. In the picture of disgestive sys, you name the parts and to provide 2 functions for each part. Then, a qn comes along asking : Why is the digestive system is a system? We were thinking hard how to answer as it seems too simple. Obviously, it is made up of many parts to form this system. Guess what… in the end, DD leaves the qn blank waiting for tr to explain.

Hi all, long time not come to this thread, so glad to see all of you are here! 🙂

Dadong99, our ds in same school, you mean your ds2 already brought back the math paper? I didn't hear anything from my ds. He just hinted me their math teacher is bit worried....

Does anyone know if they will bring back the report book for the CT2 score, or just the test paper to sign?

              GiftedGem:
For SA2 HCL Test in Oct, TR informs that the kids have to do situational writing. Moving away from Picture Composition. The last situational writing done by the class, the highest score is 33/40. Most of them are hovering 23-29 marks. TR expects most of the kids may have difficulties in moving to situational than picture writing which will result in lower score.

Hi GiftedGem, really? Do you mean in SA2 HCL they can only do situational writing, no choice for Picture composition? As I remembered in May, when met with ds 's HCL teacher, she told me better choose picture composition to avoid 离题. Also I can see they only practise for just once in situational writing so far.

Welcome back YY1205. Indeed, we have been hibernating for awhile since June holidays.

For Math, the actual paper will be back and require the parent to sign.

For HCL, I can’t explain much cos I am never been good in this language. As far as what Tr has mentioned, confirmed no picture for this year end exam. I presume HCL is not under GEP which may explain different schs adopting different approaches. Just888 also shared that her DS is still using picture. ( which I wanted to… easier to manage since it comes with helping words and write within the context. )

Let me check with their HCL teacher and update here if I get any news.

Regarding the ERP book review, ds only did once for "Hamburg module" in last Semester. No any assignment for book review so far in this Semester.

DS2 didn't bring back the Math paper but Tr already told them their score, highest in class 46, average 35 but someone from the other Tag class got full marks. Yr DS not same class w my DS2 right ? So the boy should be in yr DS class.

I think just test papers to sign but dun think they have given out yet. Anxious to know DS2 EL & MT results too. 🙏

DS brought back the maths paper today. His class average is 37 and the highest is full marks. Heard from my ds that the Eng paper will be returned after Sep holiday. I’m quite worried abt the Eng paper as ds always makes careless mistake such as incorrect spelling of words, mistakes in copying sentences, etc.

                        GiftedGem,

heard from my DS that the T mentioned that no full marks in sch yesterday. Average score unknown yet as they have yet got their papers.

For NSW, the computer skill results and the science one are out. We didn't sign up for writing hence now left with english and math.

For Sci, my DS sch like rushing through the digestive system and plant system within 1 week of lesson. Now they are into light.

Seems like all these \"smart\" kids behave more or less the same way 😂 DS2 will always say \"oh, you know, even the smartest in my class also dun know how to do, how would I know ?\" :slapshead:
