anyways… how long was the hari raya leave u gave her? is it a paid leave or no pay leave?

For the contract to be done actually both the maid and the employer must be at the embassy to meet the officer and then officer will discuss the terms & condition to fill in the standard contract then print and give to both of you to sign. I think the usual doc. like work permit and passport will do. If passport expiring must also renew at the embassy at the same time.
As for the home leave, I give 2 weeks each year, same timing as my own leave. It is paid leave since there is no weekly off days so the yearly leave is to compensate for the whole year. -
ahhh ic… mine hv 2days off a mth. n only a mth old… left one mth loan… seriously i dunno if we shud allow her to go home 2weeks scratch head…

Has she finished 2 years with you? If yes, it's mandatory for her to have 2 weeks home leave else you'll need t give her monetary compensation. That's provided she agrees. -

What's there to think? Answer is no....want to go home? I think go agent is better. She dreaming or trying to fleece on you.
If I'm in your shoes, I'll secretly hunt for a new maid , do a one to one exchange. -

Did you allow it? You shouldn't, she should have asked her own boss if she wanted to see it. It's not the content but the act is like deceit to the employers. -

100% not coming back. Don’t be gullible.
If I were you, I’ll send her back to agent for a replacement. Unless you don’t mind, since it’s only one-mth loan + airfare that you will be risking.
But then there’s the inconvenience of waiting for her to come back, and then waiting for new maid. -
she knows shes not entitle for home leave. willing to pay her own airfare. i told her to hand us $500 for a security deposit jus in case she flee but she don hv any. so discussion ends ther. best part is she don dare to discuss with my hubby, her employer.
