      mummy of three:
Anyone got price of mooncakes by the different companies?

Try already and nice or not? Recommendation?
      I haven’t try any yet.
Recd some mailers from credit card bank, listing the discount % only

Keroppi, is this very ex? I just had one today, from a colleague.

It is 8pcs / $64. Usually there's a 20-25% promo discount with certain credit cards.

This year, i already tried the Park hotel’s moon cake. The fried yam is fantastic. They have "wu ren" this year. The normal mooncakes are quite good too.

I usually look out for discounts from credit card hotels.

I like the green tea ones too.

For those who like durian mooncake, heard that Peony Jade is giving 30% off per box.

Takashimaya annual mooncake "gathering" starts next week!

My brother in law gave us a box of Tung Lok mini baked mooncake. Just pop the whole thing in the mouth and it’s gone. Haha! Taste wise, not too bad, but if you like the traditional then Tung Lok is not the best place to go.

Tai Chong Kok will have the most traditional type and it’s cheaper too

Tai Chong Kok I find a tad too sweet for my liking, and the lotus paste is not smooth enough for my liking too… I want to try Orchard Hotel Hua Ting as well as Sheraton’s Li Bai. Last year I had Shang and Four Seasons.

Bangawan Solo is very good value for money. I have been getting mine since last year. Have already eaten one box this year!
