      Oppsgal:

My point is if the rest of the staffs there did witness, and did nothing to stop the incidents and let it occur again, no need to take any blame?

The news stated: \"A kindergarten teacher\", so not sure is from childcare or kindergarten. \"The four incidents allegedly happened between July and August 2011.\" also stated in the news... so what actually happen, and anyone there knows :?

We cannot assume that there are other teachers there to witness what happened. That particular centre may have closed classrooms. And even if it is open concept, the other teachers are there to teach and care for the children, not watch over other teachers.

The one who is directly involved is being investigated and will definitely be punished if found guilty. Is there a need to go on a witch hunt and start pointing fingers at all associated with that teacher?

For me, I would withdraw my kid if the case happened to be the branch my kid is in, for safety reasons? In case anymore other \"cases\" happen and those staffs (depending what concept classroom) keep \"quiet\"? That's just my opinion.

Maybe I am just being protective? 🀷 Wonder got any \"CCTV\"?

This incident is just a worm in the can. There could be more worms in the can. I have heard of stories about child abuse in childcare but to gather the evidence is another story to bring charges against the accused. There must be substantial evidence before this case is brought to court.

Actually I feel the same. The kid only 5 then, can't imagine the scars she will carry.

Chinese news say it is centre in west. Those with kids in other directions can go whew.

sigh. and very hard to collect evidence as inside centres. the centre must cooperate but they become liable if allegations are true!

Calm down Chen...but I totally agree with your feeling. This teacher does not deserve to be in teaching. She is a shame to the teaching profession. No matter what the little girl had done, she did not deserve to be punished to stand naked in front of her classmates (boys included!). The news report yesterday said she planned to plead guilty, probably get her lawyer to cite some stress factor or something so as to get a lighter sentence.

But no matter what punishment she gets, the trauma will probably stay with the poor little girl for life. we are all parents here, imagine if this had happened to our child, we would be so devastated and furious.

                    Name this one.
Shame this one in every forum and on a hundred blogs.
May someone take a picture of her naked so that every blog writer can include her photo.

And we should make her stand naked at the station control of our most crowded MRT station. There now... I have said it. I feel better now.

Stress factor? Lighter sentence for stress factor? Can the child cite stress factor for having \"misbehaved\"? Seriously, they're little kids. How bad can misbehavior be, right... that warranted summary execution of nakedness?

                      😒 😒 😒 😒 😒 😒 😒 😒 😒

Mean what? Say suffer some sort of "mental illness" to get lighter punishment if charged?
