[Bukit Merah] Primary Schools

I suddenly recalled that a new primary school will be built along Alexandra Road (opposite Gan Eng Seng Secondary). Read about it 1 or 2 years ago. Totally forgot about it until just now, i passed by the land. They are doing the piling of foundation now. Guess it will be ready in 2 years' time?

A little more information on this I got from MOE: This new primary school's address will be officially 2A Prince Charles Crescent, and will open in 2013 for 2014 Primary One (P1) intake. However, it's expected to be completed only around end 2013, hence, it will not be ready to hold an Open House prior to the P1 registration in 2013.

Tried to get more info on this school from MOE to no avail though

Strange why that site is chosen. It seems like low density populated area.

I guess this school mainly to cater for the new flats at Havelock View in which to be in the 1Km range. :snooze:

Err... does that mean ZDPS is not good? :yikes: I remember the previos years also below National Stds.

It seems to be the least popular school in the Bukit Merah estate if you were to base on the last P1 registration that had just ended.

We "spoke" briefly afew mths back.

Me staying at Telok Blangah Heights. I think I stand higher chance with Gan Eng Seng since it is 1-2km. A friend recommended ZDPS because she found the after school care "very nice". But if Im 1-2 km away from ZDPS I dont stand a chance right gog by this year’s registration records?

I need after school care for my DS.

Sorry to side track abit, can anyone recommend me a after school student care ctr in the Bt Merah/Telok Blangah area? I know of one at the Telok Blangah Drive CC that’s all…
