what i heard is abt re-accessing the paper (meaning getting another teacher to re-mark or look thru if there's any errors in addition of marks) but not allowed to look at the paper, but not so ex, hear something like $50 or so......an ex teacher told me a while ago..its possible to have a look or a check at our children's PSLE exam paper - cost SGD200 per paper w/o GST.
Too good to be true :?

Not true. I have done it before. You submit a form and no fee is charged. Nobody is allowed to see the PSLE papers except authorised MOE personnel. A letter will be sent to you on the outcome.

There is a report in the Chinese evening paper about a boy with autism scoring 233 with 4A. My friend's son who is autistic also scored 233. A lot of hard work has been put in, 100% more than what our normal children do. :salute: :salute: :salute: -
All students are required to submit application by 2nd Dec.
Results of posting only out on 22 Dec.
Anyone knows why MOE needs 20 days ? Their software should be able to chune out the results based on the algorithm at the touch of a button !! -

So, your girl going to MGS or SCGS ?
Hmmm...I really wasn't thinking of MGS although I must admit I have a soft spot for it!!VitoRelax:
You mentioned 220, I assumed you are referring to MGS (Sec) at Blackmore Drive (or was it road ?)
...
Just out of curiosity I went to check SCGS (another soft spot!) and found it has a significantly lower entry for affiliate...200 (vs 254 for non-aff)!! -
DadOfGirl:
That's a big difference from non-affliated .. why is it so? . there is no such thing for JC i hope ( though therr are addtional points)
Because the 200 for affiliated is pre-set by the school & the balance places of non-affiliated students are based on merit. -
mommyNg:
Out of curiosity, how many of the 2009 PSLE students in SCGS Primary get lower than 200 ?
I heard that SCGS is beginning to raise their COP for affiliate students, starting from next year. I think they will first raise to 210 next year, and then 220 subsequent year, and then they said they will review thereafter (about whether they will continue to raise the COP or not). Thank Goodness my son had affiliation, if not he will barely be able to enter Fairfield Secondary.

Looks like this thread has slowed down a lot after the deadline of 2nd Dec 09, 3pm !!

VitoRelax has a good point - why does MOE need 20 days to do posting? It should be done within couple of days. Hope someone from MOE is reading this...
