I checked out the BOB DOG Shop as I went to Beauty World to buy bread this afternoon. The shop carries a range of wheels ones as well as non-wheel ones. Among the non-wheel ones, only two types are suitable for lower primary. One is quite box like, only comes in red $39.90. The other one is softer material, comes in mainly black with some coloured motif $32.90. Both are light and taller enough to avoid dogears for A4 files/books. Inside the main compartment, there are some sections near the back of the back for holding files. I find the interior material quite soft, might be easily torn by the cutting edges of plastic files or plastic wrapped books. But for the price, I think it is ok.

Thanks alot Will try to make a trip down within tis week. We were not able to go down on sunday coz my hubby went to expo instead >.<

We are aiming to buy IPEG-070, so after discount will be only $79.20..huh great saving.. :lol:

hi sorry, only saw ur msg today. It was my first time at kinderfun shop and the sales gal was mentioning some new designs so i think mine which is plain, could be a older design. Also normally when there is such a good deal, it would be for older design.

There was quite a lot of IMPACT bags at Mustafa same price after trade-in promo, you guys should go take a look.

My dd is going to P1 next year but she is just 113cm and weighs 17kg. She is small in size relative to her age. I believe her school bag is going to be as heavy as her. I am worried as to how she is going to lug her bag especially up and down the staircases. Her school hall and classroom is on the second floor. There is no lift in the school so trolley bag is not a solution.

We discussed this bag in another forum and this is what I know:

- a shop at Funan IT Mail Lev 2 (The Travel Shop- but not full range)

-'Around Singapore, there are outdoor shops (eg Outdoor Connection at Westmall)
that may have a wider range of backpacks of various sizes. I recall Lot1 (upper
floor) also has a pretty good one. But try the one at Westmall - the shop
assistant may not be very helpful but they have a good range and their prices
are reasonable.' (as shared by another parent)

You can find them from OG and Takashimaya. OG is selling the new and old ones for $139 and $99 where Takashimaya selling at $189 and $170 before 30% plus 10% discount. There is this bag shop in Tiong Bahru Plaza selling them too.
