      If I’m not wrong, these class size apply to all primary schools - P1 and P2 30 students per class, P3 onwards class size increase to 40 students.

        Not very sure other schools.

        But CH every year P1 only take in only max 210.

        My boy’s class stays 20+ from P1 to P4 due to reasons I have mentioned even with the pluses and minus. P5 is 31.

          Just got the buttons for the uniform. Ask a silly question, do you remove the buttons everyday, before washing?

            ha ha ha ... good question ...

            In my days, I used to take the buttons out from the uniform everyday and my mum wash it. Was poor and try to save money by not buying extra set.

            Well, now, I guess we are doing a lot better now and also kids and us alike getting lazier, we buy sets of buttons and just wash as it is. Button spoil or shirt get stain, throw away. If button jam in washing machine (not happen before as we put in washing bag), ha ha ha... good luck, time to change washing machine.

            It really up to you. :lol:

              We do take it out. But my friend actually sews them all on somehow. You could always put the shirts in a laundry meshbag(with close-weave, not those with big holes) before you put in the washing machine and the buttons will be fine.

                      @vodkacat

                      The buttons won’t but the silver paint may drop off if you do not put inside washing bag besides mentioned button jam washing machine.

                      The ring may rust, which I have mentioned once it stain outside, the shirt has to be thrown away. But you can find / buy similar other non rust rings from outside (test it first).

                      @juz4moi

                      Some KS schools conduct some kind of test during orientation to group P1 students. But I do not think that CH does this. So no top P1 class.

                      @dreammom

                      Teach your own kids … hmm … You are lucky if they do not argue with you and pay attention to what you teach. Try it out for the first year or first half year. If you also cannot cope, hee hee … than tuition lor …

                      My boy start Chinese Tuition late P1 and Maths P2. My wife and my role is just to fine tune him weeks before exam (of course you have to take leave to coach them).

                      Science (his favourite) and English (his weakest), no tuition yet.

                      English tuition, still looking for a good one.

                      I think it is most important for make them have interest in the subject and they will be motivated to learn more.

                        Thanks JonC for your advice.

                        My boy does not argue when i coach him but he \"Bargain\" :roll: I'm still able to keep my cool...so far so goooood :xedfingers:
                        But i'm also worried that my caoching may not be in sync with the teaching from the school.
                        Your boy having Maths tution? Tot CHS maths is not using MOE textbk...will your boy get confused?
