Hi as many have pointed out, once you try RC, you will stick with it. I did not sign up for the recent trip. I missed going out on RC again.

        Hi,

We just booked a cruise to Malacca 3D2N by Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas. In the paper, it mentioned that departure time is 5 pm.

May I what is the earliest time that we can start boarding the ship?

i just booked the 3D2N ,3 nov Legend of the sea. boarding is 11am…latest 3pm

wanna check, it’s better to get their insurance right? only $47 for a family.

and any feedback on the purchase on board… in the website it says formal wear 1… why ? anyone can share on the dining ?

as for the price adult is 546.87 each net. and kids (mine both less than 5) also have to pay same each $403.87.

another question, do we need to tips the staff on board in the invoice it stated on board service charge(included in the price above)… is that mean added liao ?

Urh....not sure I understand your question correctly, but let me try .......
All meals on board included. No of formal nights depends on your length of cruise. So if you are taking a short cruise, there could be only 1 formal (in terms of attired) night. The rest are casual (attire).

If you have pre-paid gratuity, then you don't need to tip anymore. They will give you vouchers to put into the tip envelopes for you to tip your service staff at the end of the cruise. But again, nothing to stop you to tip more if you think their service is exceptional. 🙂

                      Romeo and Juliet is good.

                      Not really 3 course mah.
U have free flow of different kinds of fresh bread… u choose ur soup.. appertizers…main course…dessert.. can order more and different kinds for sharing if u want.. I recall seeing a family w young kids, the kitchen specially cooked macaroni with cheese for the kids...(shld have asked that as well, but I saw that on the last evening).. the services were tip top….my kids were happy with ice-cream every meal ...:\\

The captain’s nite is the evening for formal wear. But most ppl bor chap. I was thankful I dressed up coz I took up the photo package.. took a lot of photos, like studio quality w different backdrops (go buy the photo package online before boarding the ship, cheaper)

I think someone answered the part on pre-paid gratuity oredi.

boarding is 11am. but do ur check-in at early 10+... :D..
and settle for ur lunch at the buffet place, comfortably...

we check in 11plus, ended up no place to sit and eat and rooms only ready at 1pm!!!!!!!! imagine all stranded and hungry and waiting for place to sit & eat while waiting for room to be ready. keep diapers on hand.. luaagges start appearing in ur doorway only at 2-3plus pm.. compulsory fire drill at 330pm, even a sleeping baby needs to participate 😉
