So, am I hearing a school of thought that once one is married, one does not need to work to keep the spouse happy or keep the spark of romance alive?
I made that mistake once (neglect DH) & I think we nearly got into trouble (or maybe I was over sensitive/suspicious) so I'm more for the same sch as 3Boys'.
However, I've no doubt dh is still reasonably besotted with me la. Well, he got jealous when he saw me buying breakfast (completely innocent!) together with a younger man yo

yes whatever the reason for a failed relationship, its a 2 way thing. fault never ever lies only on 1 side.

Just yesterday DD told me when we were on the way home she was glad we still have a complete family unit. Most of her classmates parents are either divorced, in the process having cold war and arguing constantly. Her ex school principal during a casual conversation also told us that divorced families are most likely 40% of the school population…
