      sleepy:

I think this should apply both ways. I'm mostly the one being neglected le

However, I've no doubt dh is still reasonably besotted with me la. Well, he got jealous when he saw me buying breakfast (completely innocent!) together with a younger man yo 😆

      BeContended,
come on elaborate that part le. What happen?
Certainly it needs to be a 2-way street.

yes whatever the reason for a failed relationship, its a 2 way thing. fault never ever lies only on 1 side.

Just yesterday DD told me when we were on the way home she was glad we still have a complete family unit. Most of her classmates parents are either divorced, in the process having cold war and arguing constantly. Her ex school principal during a casual conversation also told us that divorced families are most likely 40% of the school population…

Wow! The percentage is much much higher than I expected.

                  Hmm...spouse or kid first ?..Hmm

                  Scene A:
Feverish DD : Mom..I feel so weak and my fever is like it's not going to come down...
Me : Don't worry dear, I will sleep beside you tonight... You feel better then right?

                  Scene B:
Feverish DH : I got fever and I feel weak
Me : Just take panadol and go to sleep. By the way, sleep in the guestroom so that we don't get your virus...

Answer is quite clear for my case..hor ? ha ha....
Totally! Although we don't have guest room, I ask him to sleep in the hall 😂

                    Spouse first or kids first?

As much as I usually put my kids first, it is the appreciation I get from my dh that make me re think my priority - during one of those days when ds1 was testing my limits , and I was sulking at one corner, my dh came to me and told me that even when the kids have grown up one day and forgotten about how much I have done for them, he won't.
