        [quote="oldies"]Hi,

        Do let me know how’s the bus service. I heard some parents complained about the bad service and would like to hear those feedback. For confidentiality, you can pm me instead.

        Thanks![/q

        Hi Oldies,

        Generally, it depends on which bus number that runs your area. We used to have 2 ex-bus uncles whom the kids liked and very responsible but this recent one my 2 kids complained and didn’t like him from day 1. This bus driver didn’t allow the kids to eat in the bus though I understand he was afraid the smell and the kids littered the bus. I still think at least restrict them eat something light eg. bread cos the poor kids from morning session dismissed at 1.30pm and by the time some of them reached home will be 2.15-2.30pm. And imagine if their recess is at 9.30 how are they going to tahan till reach home?!

        The next thing was the bus driver told the kids to keep quiet and no talking in the bus?! This is really ridiculous, I think. The bus driver wrote down the names of kids who talked and passed to Mr Quek who is the Operational Manager of Rosyth! I called the bus company though my kids not listed in his list and gave them a piece of mind saying the new bus uncle shouldn’t drive school bus! How can he stopped the kids from talking cos kids are kids, they tend to chat with bus friends. He can ask the kids to lower their volume if they talked too loudly but he cannot ask them to keep quiet!

        I certainly hope that Rosyth will change their contract with the bus company cos the drivers are no longer as considerate as before and I have seen some foreign bus drivers driving very fast once they are out the school gate. And the only thing I am thankful is that my kids’ bus driver is not foreigner.

          Hi dohdoh,
          It's good to feedback to Rosyth Ops Manager so that when it's time to review the bus service contract, there will be some forms of records for the school to review. Else Rosyth will assumed no complains means good service rendered which is not true.

                  Hi Hi,

                  My DS will be in Respectful class.
                  Am so excited about the orientation. 😉

                  Can any mummies advise the following as cant find the details from the orientation letter?

                  1) Are we allow to wear sock and shoes without Rosyth logo?
                  2) How many PE attires are needed for a week school?
                  3) What are the CCA or extra class for Primary 1 level?

                  Cheer!

                      Hi,

                      No need to wear sock & shoes with Rosyth logo, normal white socks & shoes will do. At least2 PE attires as Wed to Fri need to wear them. Can check their website for CCA but P1 not compulsory. Suggest don't stress yr kid too much by joining CCA in P1 as he/she needs time to settle down in the sch. Never heard of extra class, u mean remedial class right?

                        Start of 2014. Moving is done at end of year during the school hols so that the new year starts in the school compound with little disruption.
