That's impressive! Where do you get all the stats?

No digging or snooping around required. It's published on the Ai Tong website.

Frankly speaking, I do not know. I also want to know.

Schools have been asking \"Did you put our sch as first choice\". Based on this, it seems \"priority\" is given to those who put it as first choice unless those who put 2nd choice is very very good in CCA or offer much more than the one who put 1st choice.

What happens if appeal to 2 schs and both are succesful? Then got to turn down one. Isn't it not nice? Of course as kiasu parents, we want to appeal 2 schs if get 3rd choice.

Would the sch between/amongst themselves liaise with one another?

I just called MOE. Can appeal to 2 schs.

Top ten reasons why MOE needs 20 days to post S1 results:

          10. It takes 3 days to clear the queue at MOE from 177 primary schools handing in the S1 option forms!

          9. The Director in charge of posting is clearing her year end leave, ....followed by.....

          8. The Minister going on holiday leave with his family.

          7. The sec schools' principals are busy playing musical chairs!

          6. The donors' cheques bounced and it takes 2 days to be notified.

          5. It takes another 5 days for the banks to clear the replacement cheques since it was near the weekend.

          4. MOE has to correct a mistake in the selection program alllowing ALL MGS primary girls a free ride into MGS. :!: sigh....

          3. Santa Claus is on his way. MOE is waiting till near X'mas to give students and parents a X'mas surprise. :rahrah:

          2. You have X'mas aad New Year to cheer you up for those who didn't get what they want.

1.MOE welcomes public feedback to improve but is stalled by Kiasuparents still debating on the algorithm!

Hahahaha ... quite funny ... but really ... maybe only reason number 10 is real.

So, the question as to why MOE needs 20 days to release the results of posting has not yet been answered. I am sure, MOE has already got the posting list by now.

Anyone know why MOE needs 20 days ?
Actually reason number 9 to 2 has nothing to do with the algorithm. The program will run without these inputs

            http://www.postimage.org/
I think MOE has already clearly stated the algorithm and it is crystal clear. Nothing much to debate, really.

The question is why they need 20 days
