Yes, my kid schools there and enjoys the curriculum lots. Lots of emphasis on linguistic skills and confidence built up through self-expression. Low teacher turnover. School fees in the league of premium preschools.

I signed my son up for N1 2013 PM session (chiltern ECP) too.

He’s currently attending Playclub at JG, which he enjoys.

I seriously hope the teachers at Chiltern are good.
Didn’t get a chance to speak to the teachers during my Sch visit.

I stand corrected. But I thought N1 andN2 kids don’t get a chance to play at the beach? Also, they only get to use the JG Playclub playground.
not the big Chiltern house outdoor playground.

Am thinking of organising some "meet ups" with fellow N1 2013 friends before term starts next year. (example: play date at the beach etc)
So that my boy will have some friends going to Sch with him next year.
Hopefully this will lessen the separation anxiety.
            Any parents keen on this??

              Hi,

I read lotsa good feedback on CH turf club, anyone has feedback on CH Forum?
              Thanks!
              Hi Cluelessmum,
I have two children attending Chiltern House at Forum now. Without doubt, Chiltern House is one of the best schools here. (This is based on my humble experiences of moving my 1st child around for two years.)
Now My children look forward going to school everyday.
Once your kid becomes a student here, the staff s flexible, informative, helpful, and responsive. The school teaches kid good values. (discipline, sharing, taking turn, friendship, etc) My kids aways say she loves all her friends. 🙂
In terms of academic, the school s indeed preparing kid well. The school curriculum is very well planned introducing academic the fun and age appropriate ways. (no serious chair bounding) They also groom kid to be a great reader and confident speaker. (books both in chinese and english feom school almost on daily basis) The class size is indeed very small. (10-14 children / 2 teachers)
Even though it s just a half day program, but their day packs of fullfilled activities by highly qualified teachers. Chinese lesson is solid 45 mins daily. All children will have a chance to speak out. The chinese teachers here are attentative, genuinely very nice, helpful and highly qualified. 🙂 good luck!
It s money well spent here.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has feedback on CH Halifax (eg school environment, teachers, food) as we will be moving house and will probably have to transfer my son there for the N1 class.

                Thanks!

                    Hi,

We only send our kids for Chinese class as we don’t speak Mandarin at home. Others than that it s really up to kids ’ interests. Most kids here d attend enrichment classes like Ballet, music, art or sports.

                        Hi mommies,

I've read this thread over and over again to reduce my anxiety as I am offered a place in the PM session in EC 2014. I was yearning for an AM session because I have arranged my job schedule in such a way that I can send him in the morning. Pretty disappointed right now. I have visited a number of schools but upon a school visit, I was blown away by the center that both hubby and me wanted to sign up right there and then!

Some reasons that caused my anxiety:

                        1. The representative just called and mentioned if I could toilet-trained my son by next year.

                        2. I won't be around to send him off to school. 😞

                        3. Are the waiting list for AM session ridiculously long? Will I ever get a chance of morning session?
