      Hi

I see that everyone is stressed about the PSLE 2012.I am a PSLE student this year and i am interested in learning all subjects-(except for languages,I am least intrested in those areas).Hence,I feel a little bit stress when I am doing my math papers or problems.I am in a critical state now,but my mind is relaxed.Because,if you know the techniques and the concepts of the question tested and you have good answering techniques,PSLE should be a little bit breeze for me.I am trying to cut down almost all my entertainment for this 1 2/7 week.Meanwhile,i felt the sense of sincerity to study in this crucial time. Thus,it blew away my thought of diversions to entertainment.During the break,i would read a book. And lastly,I would get enough sleep so that i can concerntrate well when i am in school.
Hope this advice works for your children.
      Charsen.

        Hi Mummies,

Want to check with you how many hours are your dc sleeping these days? My dd is feeling tired and keep wanting to sleep. She is still sleeping. She slept at 12 last night. We woke her at 9.30 am this morning. After breakfast and when she settled down to do her work at 10.15 am, she felt tired and went back to sleep. She is still sleeping now. Looks like the morning is gone. She has tuition in the afternoon. Looks like today is gone. Counting down to 4 days to PSLE! Thanks!

Children at this age needs about 9-11 hours of sleep? Something like that.

My DS hasn't been going to school since Monday. He has been sleeping about 10.5 hours on the average. Yesterday I got him to start sleeping earlier in preparation for PSLE. So lights out at 8.30pm and he K.O. by about 8.50pm. He got up close to 9am this morning but he looked totally refreshed. Had a glow on his face. Rest is really important in my opinion. Now running around in the garden playing \"soldier and enemy\" with the younger one. So close to PSLE so just have to relax abit. Can't push too hard.

Probably The kids are tired. DS also similar 3-4 weeks ago. Seem tired & want to sleep more than usual so I kinda go easy with him. This week he is counting down to exam.....he can't wait to start & get over it. But at the same time, DS now seem more motivated & will ask to set time for his studies (but say only. Eat snake here & there šŸ˜† ). Actually I also xian Liao..... so just kept reminding him one more week & he can play play play. I'm sure our kids are keen to know how well they can do & trying hard, so i just remind DS now is the time, no point regretting afterwards.

 For me, many MIL relatives 'watching' cos I am SAHM (ie. do nothing DIL). So for personal & selfish reason, I do hope he does well so that I won't kena 'suan' .... Esp I need to face MIL whole day long..... šŸ˜“
:hugs: and agree with you. DD has been very motivated for the past 3 weeks. She can't wait to \"chiong\" for the actual exam and we will be off for holiday the week after.

MIL in hospital for minor fall, DD and I didn't visit coz scared of contracting virus and then fall sick on PSLE. Last wk end, boh bian have to do a quick visit, DD and I dashed in n out of hospital, came home changed and washed everything  I hope MIL can understand how jialat it is for us PSLE mothers. I know what you mean by MIL relatives are \"watching\"

We just have to be faithful in our prayers. Jiayou! last few days liao!

My DD has been sleeping at 9.30pm to 10pm. Wakes up at 6am on school days (Week end is about 7am-7.30am). I think its puberty and they feel tired n sleepy all the time.

I think you are referring to 2012 Prelim?
DD felt that Tao Nan English, Nanyang Math. However, she only focus on a few \"good\" schools (in her opinion good schools) and she flips through the paper to decide if she should do those papers. Hence, it may not be a good representative.

Hi all, am planning to use the Uniball Signo DX for PSLE. Is anyone also planning to use it? Any adverse comments on it or is there a better alternative? Am planning to go to Popular tomorrow to purchase my additional PSLE stationary. Thank you.

I am also planning to use it during PSLE as it does not smudge easily.
