Can correction tape be used in psle? My dd insist on using pls help

Correction tape can be used in psle but it is not advised to as it may come off over time and might cause the original answer to overlap the new answer. My teachers have advised me to just cancel the wrong answer neatly with a ruler and write the new answer on top.

        Hi Mummies,

Want to check with you how many hours are your dc sleeping these days? My dd is feeling tired and keep wanting to sleep. She is still sleeping. She slept at 12 last night. We woke her at 9.30 am this morning. After breakfast and when she settled down to do her work at 10.15 am, she felt tired and went back to sleep. She is still sleeping now. Looks like the morning is gone. She has tuition in the afternoon. Looks like today is gone. Counting down to 4 days to PSLE! Thanks!

Yours is sleeping... mine is making weapons... http://petunialee.blogspot.sg/2012/09/psle-prep-little-boy-style.html

Wow that is good way to relax! Good therapy!

          HI Studious Alien,

Thanks for your advice. I showed your post to my son.

          Goodluck8,
I've not received the secondary school book yet...at this point, I think it is going to be more stressful looking at the COP to get into those desired schools.

My usually chirpy son has been very tired and lethargic. I'm no better... :frustrated:

Would any parent care to share What is the most difficult 2011 prelim top school paper your C have come across? :thankyou:

I think you are referring to 2012 Prelim?
DD felt that Tao Nan English, Nanyang Math. However, she only focus on a few \"good\" schools (in her opinion good schools) and she flips through the paper to decide if she should do those papers. Hence, it may not be a good representative.

No,I am referring to 2011 prelim.I do not have 2012 prelim papers.I just want DD to do one last paper.Oh,unless someone uploaded the papers on some other thread.

And the friend working in MOE also said that Victoria COP is 260 this year. OMG.

Just to clarify, this year means P6 this year or sec 1 this year?

It is most likely false in my opinion. Firstly, Victoria has never reached a COP of 260 B4 i think (Only RGS,RI,NUS High and NYGH). Secondly, you never know what the COP is for the schools until the results are released as the COP is based on the popularity of the school and is also the T-Score of the \"Worst Pupil\" who enters the school via the normal route.

                      Regards,

Victoria School's COP was 247 for kids in Sec 1 this year (cf. http://www.acetutors.com.sg/Secondary-School-Ranking-2012-Based-On-PSLE-Intake). For kids in Sec 1 next year (2013), there is no way to know now.
