Limlim San, I think it is the \"suck it up\" that is causing the prob. I think u just mean \"accept it\".

suck it up as in LLST..

      LLST is vulgar?

Oh limlim, must I be explicit? Think of a part of your body that goes up when sucked upon. That's why its so vulgar. Please do not use it when talking to Ang Mo nang.

Imami is right. I do not know the acronym LLST ...[/quote] Really? Never knew it alluded to that. Thought it simply meant to stop complaining and deal with it.

        😂

        You serious one not?

Anyway I did not have a chance to clarify since I saw DH heading towards my car and complied with the warden and moved off.

I am usually rather co-operative with them since their job's not easy and they do get a lot of 'poop' from people. So if it is not an outright abuse of their authority, I tend to comply. Very tiring to be confrontational ya know.
        seriiiious!
        me not joking.
        see here, Rule no.16:http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10327p.nsf/w/CarPark1RulesNFine?OpenDocument
In my observations, park wardens normally give some grace period lah,
unless u kena niao ones or u hv been sitting in d car too long without putting coupons.

You have not perfected the art of veeeeeeeeeeeeery caaaaaaaaareeeeeeeefuuuuuuuuuul coupon tearing with old age glasses and fat fingers yet. What to do? The print on the calendar is so very small. 🤷

Oooi.... better don't lah, he could have booked you with contempt/cheat leh...

One of my friend had an expired coupon on his dashboard, he parked his car and got down, while chatting on the phone and sorting out his trunk, he got booked for displaying an expired coupon, amounting to cheat... 😓

Did you know there’s difference between ‘cheating’ on coupon time??

If u tore 11.00am (a later time) and say they checked @ 10.50am, u get a heavier fine (for cheating) than if u tore 10.45am and came back late by, say, 15mins @ 11.30am.

Makes sense. 1st one - intent to cheat, 2nd one, simply running late.

                      IMO, there is no cheating.

Whatever time they checked and there is no valid coupon (even if there is post dated one or expired one displayed), it is just \"No coupon\"..

Don't feel that is element of cheating leh..

Cheating is \"re-use\" used coupons or the like..

but.. that's just my personal opinion lah..

And, for the 2nd case, it could be the driver held up and unable to return on time.. cannot be classify as cheating right..

they should make provision for diff timing on diff watches.(ours vs warden's) 5 min should be a reasonable allowance for that..

But 10 min.. erhm.... you think cheating or not?
