It's Normal to have this feeling just don't let it gets you. I am sure you're a clever girl with resilient. Look forward don't look backward now, just less than 2 weeks more to go. Fighting!!!

ConCerned_of_PSLE 10, just checked your profile - you are a service provider then why you sounds like you are the one taking PSLE? :scratchhead:

She also lists having three kids all born 14 sep 2012. So I guess maybe the occupation is just a filler and not real? 😂

There’s no rocket science…as long every subject is above 90% you would get an average range of 270. Cos 90% of 300 is 270.

Hi. Could someone please clarify if the bands for A*/A etc remain unchanged for the PSLE? I.e. Does A* remain at 91 and above and A at 75 to 90 or does this change according to the performance of the cohort? I am of the understanding that it remains unchanged and only the T score is adjusted according to the performance of the cohort. Would appreciate any input on this. Many thanks.

ahemm… it is not as simple as abv. MOE use SD to calculate T-score, and the SD varies from each subject and cohort. 270 you need to be better than 95% or more. If just score barely above.90%, there is no way can even get near to 260! Just to manage expectation…and sharing a better understanding on using SD :xedfingers:

hence, that is why some parents think that in school their kids get average about 91% but when PSLE results released, they did not get 270.. they thot that MOE / teachers made mistakes in marking his/her child's paper. They totally misunderstood it is so simple to calculate T-score! :yikes:
