      Hi Sesame

I understand about conveinence. In fact LCentral is easy for me to reach but ICR in same building. So I go to assess first to see which one better...

I will inform everyone if any progress when my dd finish her programme but I know tht ICR have P5/P6 together in one class. LCentral have speical PSLE prog. 33 wks long I think its better. Maybe you can take ur dd for assess first at both centre because its free.

The 2 companys seem to be quite the same but I think that the opinion of most ppl is that LCentral better for help wit exams.
Anyone have diff opinion pls say...I want to make right choice for my dd too!
      Hi Engkidz,
My girl went for the assessment. It went well and she likes the teacher, Christina. Just wanted to follow up on your kid's programme. What is her feedback?
      Thanks in advance...

        Hi sesame

Glad to hear it. My dd holiday program went well. I tot maybe 4 days consec is too much but she seem to enjoy. She like the teacher (also Christina) so will enrol in "Success" for next year. Only dilemma is the timings for next year. Currently I have a lot goin on so must check first if time slot convenient.

I look at the workbook and the compo is relevent, they give her a technique too which i think is most useful.
My dd quite shy in class scenerio but seems that the feedback from the teacher is she open up more and was active in discussions.
I take a look at the work books, P5 level good and P6 level looks organized and relevent. I stop by ICR too to enquire about workbooks to be sure. They say none available but then a couple of days later I saw the P5/P6 book. It looks OK.

Anyhow, my dd must enjoy the class and I think she will. So heres to a good year at LCentral!

                Hi Mej,

your gal is going to be 4 next year? is she starting to read? I would suggest ICR then - so she can start to read first. ICR has good phonetics and reading program and by following the program, your gal should be read well by 5+? then you can go on with other comprehension and compo programs to get her ready for P1. I see good results from my colleagues and other kids from ICR.

Yes, a few of my colleagues who send their child to ICR have good feedback on the program for young children.
