Top 10%

Any one has any idea what is the cut off T-score for the top 10% … my daughter got 249.

It seems if the child is eligible to read French, German or Japanese as a third language, he/she will be within the Top 10%. I know of a girl who has 248 and has the said option. But I have yet to hear of someone with a score of 247 that has the same entitlement.

As of now, we can use 248 as the COP for top 10% this year till we have further updates to amend it.
I know of a T score = 261 who was awarded the EESIS. Does anyone know of one being awarded same with a lower T score? This will give an indication of the COP for top 3% or 5% ( I am not sure if EESIS is given only to top 3% or 5% :oops: ). -
top 10% are about 5000 kids !

If 248 is among top 10%, does this mean that the T score attained for most children is comparatively low this year? Imagine 90% of the cohort getting 247 and below. :!: And does it mean that COP for most secondary schools will be lowered?

3rd language option is not the way to determine if your T-score falls within top 10% or not.
It is offered if your languages are "A"s and above but I am not sure if they have a cut-off point on the "A"s as in if they must be high "A"s. -
I really pray and hope that the COP this year will be lower than last two years. My first two choices for the schools are pretty \"ambitious\", first one 6 points higher, the second one one point higher.
Waiting for 22 December 2009 is really killing me

I think most likely your children will get 2nd choice...
