I believe that the paper is quite well set for students in p6 as its within their capacity... unlike past 2009 math paper which was difficult and a certain school this year that recently set rediculous prelim paper which was beyond a normal childs ability to solve or would take avery long time to get it right. Every child has their own interpretation of the word easy, easy cos they expected something harder than their own prelim? or easy cos they could handle every question but after checking they found that they made many mistakes.
My girl mentioned it was easy when she got home but after checking wih friends, she estimated a loss of 9 marks, her mood changed completely and she refuse to talk about the exam. So! easy after doing the paper but getting it correct is another thing. Now my dd feels that its not all that hard neither is it all that easy.
We read of the many here who found it easy. Most kids here have parental support. There are many out there without such support and found the paper very tough. That's part of the reality. -
PSLE 2012 took us on a 9 months rollercoaster ride this year.
Parental support for the kids is extremely crucial. The hardest part for me is to find that ‘right’ balance…not too pushy and not too comfortable to the point of forgetting. -

I feel that right now, all DCs should not worry about how many marks they have achieved or lost, but to concentrate fully on the remaining papers and accomplish them to the best of their abilities. Sometimes it is better not to know as it will affect your confidence and drive. Oblivion is bliss.
My DS's school has a teacher who actually posted the answers for the English paper for students. I did not allow my DS to refer to it as I feel that it doesn't help him in anyway. Not at this time. He can check his answers after the PSLE period. Anyway, school teachers will discuss the answers with the students after the exams. Why the hurry to know and get your mood affected? The crucial thing is to keep your morale and confidence level high and continue to Cheong for the remaining papers.

3 more days of preparation to go. laughing in my sleep even at the thought of closing in to the finishing line.
