Arise Kindergarten
-
hi,parents! anyone can give some feedback on Arise kindy??
my son has a place at another kindy already…but Arise just called me to offer us 2nd session, but I prefer morning session due to my work arrangement.
but I prefer Arise curriculum, coz the impression I have is that it has learn through play concepts, but at same time also do ‘train’ kids appropriately & sufficiently, at K2, & kids are quite well-prepared for P1?
Am I right?
hope to hear valuable feedback from parents, so that I can make a better decision on whether I should switch!! thanks in advance!! -

Any parents currently with kids there? Appreciate any feedback

both my kids were in that kindergarten…while mrs hong is the principal. I don’t know if she is back…but she definitely is a friendly and firm principal.
the teachers do toilet train the kids…like having toilet breaks for those who are still wearing pull-ups. most importantly, the kids themselves must like the school. -

I loved Arise for my ds2, and I feel it has a good balance between early academics and age appropriate activities. My ds2 was very shy and hesitant as a preschooler, and it was a very nurturing place for him.
But if you want a strong academic focus, you should check out Glory kindergarten as well. I find it too academic, but if you are aiming for higher Chinese in primary school, it is worth checking out.
