Going through past year papers with ds1...problem reads something along the lines of 'X is 3 years old and her sister is twice as old. Her father is 4 times as old as both of them. How old is her father?'

After going through the workings, DS1 commented \"X father should never share private information like this.\" :skeptical: :faint:

My dd is eight months old and is at the age where she puts everything in her mouth. She especially likes paper and cardboards.

One evening, ds, 7, dd and I went to the park. Before we went out , I cooked dd's porridge on the slow cooker. When we got home I checked the mail box and found a lot of brochures. I commented: wa, so many brochures!
Upon returning home, I checked the porridge and found it was not ready. I commented: aiya, porridge is not ready!
Ds said to dd: mei mei, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is your porridge is not ready. The good news is you can eat all these papers. :faint:

                Lynn2010:
                Mum: What are you doing?

DD1: Making a card for mei mei (younger sister)
Mum: Can i take a look?

The card: \"Happy birthday mei mei, once again i run out of ideas, below are some vouchers you can use throughout the year\"

                Self made vouchers of:
                Voucher 1: \"Get something for me\"
                Voucher 2: \"Do this for me\"
                Voucher 3: \"I win this fight\"
                Voucher 4: \"Lend me something\"
Reminded me of myself when I was a kid..
As a Mother's Day Gift, I did a card with a lot of various vouchers..
(I had even added expiry dates to them! 😆 )
Can't remember now how many i gave her, but some of it were:
                1) Vacuum the house
                2) Mop the floor
                3) Back massage
                4) Fold the clothes
                5) Wash the dishes

Was with ds2 (6 yo) at a bookshop and he suddenly shouted "now I know I’m a weighing machine!". I’ve heard his brother tell him he is various stuff but never weighing machine.

Turn out he was looking at books on astrology for 2013. I learnt something new.
