I was like Jennifer too until two days ago. Thanks to the folks around me, I hv tasted so many brands of moon cakes and decided that they all taste the same. I guess I am not very picky. Until I tasted one two days ago… Wah piang, that one cannot make it. I only took a bit from a quarter. The rest went to the the dustbin… So yup, not all moon cakes taste the same. Some are better.

I used to have a sweet tooth.
I now prefers dark choco to sweet stuff. Taste buds hv changed lor.
Even my x-favourite yam mooncake now taste so-so to me liao. Think the traditional orh-nee is more appealing than yam mooncakes. -

I first saw the promo banner at ex-Glass Hotel a few days after Dumpling festival. It’s crazy-- the rate marketers r rolling out food promo. Lost the essence of the festival to be celebrated. All abt making money only- sad.

Haha…I already ate my first moon cake in early June this year. A relative bought them in Hong Kong from Wing Wah Bakery，荣华饼家.
