Teacher marked as wrong, now I’m not sure…
1. Write the greatest 2-digit number such that the sum of the two digits is 10. (not 91?)
2. Write the greatest 3-digit number such that the sum of the three digits is 20.(not 992?)
3. Write the smallest 3-digit number such that the sum of the three digits is 15.(not 159?) -

draw a table with 4 columns, not model.
1st column : No. of cows x 4 legs
2nd column : No. of ducks x 2 legs
3rd column : Total legs
4th column : Check
keep guessing the different combination of numbers for no. of cows and ducks, try with 6 cows and 6 ducks first to get total 36 legs and under check column put a cross.. then try on the next row with 7 cows and 5 ducks and you will get total 38 legs, under check column, put a tick..
hope u get what i mean.. -
