Maybe I am confused that GEP students don't take PSLE.

Most GEP got through DSA, thus do not take PSLE too seriously

But my friend told me, her DS classmates that didn't score above 80% or 85% did not get any CO from DSA. So I think one has to do well enough in GEP in order to got thru DSA, Its not guarantee.
Yes, some top schools' DSA also require Geppers to take GAT test if they score < 80% for their school results, so no guarantee.

Whether GEPpers have the edge over the mainstreamers I do not know - that is school internal policy. But I know that GEPper scoring below 80% may be required to sit for test(s) like mainstreamers.

For some schools like NUSH and NJC, doesn't matter you are GEPpers or mainstreamers, all have to sit for tests. Only when you pass thru' the test round that you get into the next round.
Yes, DS1 in NUSH and his cohort has more mainstreamers than Geppers. But one thing in common, all very pro in Math.

Does school disclose the number of students eligible for the selection tests?

sorry I mean 31 go into round 2.

                :congrats:

Woah!may I know which school is your DS in?

Am I right that your DS class is in one of the top classes?
There are school stream them in P2 into good classes in P3.
This could be the reason why there are 31; 75% of the class.
