Please help me to solve this.

Jim bought some chocolates and gave half of it to ken. ken bought some sweets ans gave half of it to jim. Jim ate 12 sweets and ken ate 18 chocolates. The ratio of jims sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of kens sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did ken buy?

I've received a query for the following % questions from Kitty2. Can take a look and see if your children can figure these out...

1. Benny had 20% more marbles than Hong Joo. After Hong Joo had received 80 marbles from Benny, Hong Joo had 20% more marbles than Benny. How many marbles did the 2 boys have altogether?

2. A certain number of stamps was shared between Tony and Jennifer. Tony's share was 600 stamps. If Tony's share was increased to 680 stamps, Jennifer's share would be decreased by 8%. Find Jennifer's share.

3. 25% of the boys and 12% of the girls made up 139 children. There were 660 children altogether. How many boys and how many girls \twere there?

4. Janet had 60% more money than Andy. Helen had half of what Janet had. When Andy gave $240 to Helen, both of them had the same amt of money.\t
a) How much money did Helen have at first?\t
b) If Janet gave 20% of her money to charity, how much money had she left?
