I have wrote in to MOE regarding my case of rejection and request a investigation regarding Clan route priority to PV and GV at MTS for P2B.
There is an auto reply, mentioned they will get back to me in 3 days.
Just hope MOE will entertain my request.
Dear Concern parents on Clan route for MTS,
I got a \"standard\" reply from MOE yesterday.

Thank You for your email on 3 Aug 2012.
We would like to thank you for taking your time.... ..
As such, we will be forwarding your email to the school principal for their attention and repsond to you directly\"
Seem like MOE will not be interfering with MTS selection process on PV/GV/Clan.
I foresee the school will respond on their standard template 10 years serials answer.
Will keep all posted once MTS replied. -

Anyway, just to point out something to the other parents.
\"Maths 43 % - below National Standard by 0.5 %\"
I wouldn't think too much about the standard being 0.5% below National Average. In 2010, Mee Toh's quality passes (A* - A) for Math was 39.2%. If a school is able to jump 3.8% in just a year, 0.5% is pretty much negligible.
Besides, looking at the other Punggol schools, they have the largest cohort size. This means that they're more affected by the middle band of pupils than small to medium sized schools.phtthp:

Hi all parents,
May I know if i am living near punggol mrt which is more than one clique from Meetoh, is it possible for my child to get in? Any ways to let my kids getting in? And may I know Meetoh and edgefield, which one is better?
Beside my house, there’s a new school Punggol view which started to open this year. My mum keep telling me to let my kids study there but it’s a new school and I’m afraid that my kids will become white rabbit!!
What should I do?

If your add fall outside 1km, tough to get in mee toh cos ballot alr within 1km. Punggol view is relatively new so teacher will be much more enthu… I believe it will be a better choice. Your child registering this year? -

To add on... if u really keen in mee toh, go for phase 2B and but not guaranteed. Check out various channel such as clan, pv or grassroot when the child is 4yrs old.Hi anxious mummy

Hi, I am considering between Punggol View and Changkat (Simei) for my daughter P1 in 2014. Appreciate your opinions.
Punggol View
- brand new school - not sure how the sch is in term of establishment, culture etc
- convenience as it near to my place, I can send her in the morning
- problem is who to fetch her
- new building and up-to-date facilities
Changkat (Simei)
- my former school
- near my parents’ place
- slightly inconvenience > I have to drive & send her to school every morning, not sure how it impact if I was to chg my job
- more established
