it's an insult to the law students and lawyers as this guy is studying law and yet commits this offensive act with knowledge of the possible legal consequences in our conservative society.
He's using his law background to his advantage. He claimed what he did will not land him in any legal trouble... -

which Junior college he came from ?

this is really a I-ME-MYSELF generation...
everything is about themselves. nothing about the feelings of others and their loved ones. So sad  -

maybe, he can use money to solve his problem if he is being punished by law in Msia, that's why he claimed so...northernstar:

You're right. The girl mentioned in the interview that she doesn't care what her parents or others felt about what she had done. Must have broken her parents' hearts by such comment.

The world is not just a black or white scale of colour. I think his mindset of pushing himself to success is worth emulating. -

[/quote]Yes RJC and apparently did well there. When netizens asked for his scholarship to be revoked, and the sum amounting to $110 000 (allowance, transport, grants) returned, he challenged with a \"Why should I?\" :mad:No kidding??!!! :yikes:

The best part of this is there is no bond attached to this ASEAN Undergrad Scholarship!! What's our govt thinking? -
Couldn’t the girl have thought of her parents before doing such a thing? Even if she doesn’t value herself, she should give a thought to her loved ones who raised her. How are her parents going to face anyone? Really sad.
