Wah micollh, you going cruise and Bali also this year end?? :salute:
I never try Groupon holiday, only restaurants. Some good, some not so. If no answer here, maybe you google the travel agent, see ok or not, then read fine prints carefully. Good luck!

Haha...ya, if cannot decide just go with DH for couple time. I always advocate some time away on our own without kids. Easier to recharge. DH says with kids, sometimes not really a holiday :rotflmao:

Actually I went Bali with kids in June last year and we had a good time. Weather not so bad. Warm but not as humid as Singapore. Very breezy at the beach. My friends who goes regularly say that it is quite usual for the June period. We did not bother with sightseeing as I don't think the kids will enjoy the temples. Actually DS2 scared of balinese sculptures! DH and I already did Ubud on our own. So with the kids we stayed at Nusa Dua. Left DD at the kids club and spend 1 day white water rafting (DSs were 12 and 14), one morning water sports. With DD we went turtle island. We played at the beach, the pool, flew kite etc. Kids had so much fun and say the holiday too short, want to go again.

                    Hi,

Have book the flight to Bali in first week Dec12. free & easy. Going with hubby, 18mth gal.
My first oversea trip with my gal.
Will get a driver. Can i ask do the supermarket sell Gerber/Heniz jar foods there? sell diapers? What other things i need to take note/prepare?
                    Thanks.

For those with children aged 6 yr old and above, I strongly recommend Bali treetop adventure at Bali Botanical Garden. It is much bigger than our Forest Adventure at Bedok Reservoir. You pay a fee and you can spend a whole day amongst the trees, zipping from tree to tree. The courses are segregated into different difficulty levels catered to different age group. They are very safe and there are rangers around the course to watching out for you.

My DD who is 6yo was able to manage the course independently by herself and my 9yo DS had a whopping good time zipping from tree to tree.

can try sense hotel. they have a 2 nights free & easy package right now at US$164. (see http://www.facebook.com/sensehotelbali for the nov promotion). can read the reviews too: http://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/Hotel_Review-g469404-d2554706-Reviews-Sense_Hotel_Seminyak-Seminyak_Bali.html

there are many shops and restaurant at seminyak. there's one long street starting from seminyak square which is known as eat street/boutique street. and there's plenty of spa options too. the businesses there tend to be higher-end compared to those in kuta. semiyak beaches are less crowded too. you can read more here: http://wikitravel.org/en/Seminyak
