I have a different take for HCL this round. Looking at DD’s progress, initially maintaining 53 for SA1 and for SA2 mock paper, she was performing around 49.5 and when it comes to the real paper, she is at 45.


From this trend,it draws a concern whether she can cope with the paper as HCL’s heavy weight is on Comprehension. To add on, mummy here is a ‘potato’
and not able to guide her for HCL at all. Also, my next concern whether HCL will pull down the overall grades since we have been discussing on 80% benchmark for P5 & 6. Hubby said to give her a final try on HCL for P5 and see if she can make it.

Hope this heavy bet will not turn out to be a disaster to her grade.

Hi Parents, is has been 10months since your child joined the GEP, do you care to share your experience with the 2012 GEP screening parents; your experience as a parent of a GEP child, your child’s experience as a GEP kid, how you and your child cope within these 10 months, in regards to workload, exams results/stress, project work/project dateline and etc. As your experience is very current, I’m sure you and your kid can give the GEP students to be, to have a better view of what challenges lie ahead if they opt for GEP program. It will be great to hear from you too, your personal feelings about GEP, was it what you have expected it to be? Was it a right choice you and your child has made?

hello, i have a question to ask on behalf of my DS who is in P4 now...he said 2 of hos teachers will be talking to the boys individually tmr and asking questions to determine what to do with IRS project.


DS asked me to check with mommies here what sort of questions will they ask?

Huh ? Did not hear fr DS on this. Will check with him when he is back tonite.

I was told that all the 9 Gep schools will be divided into 4 sessions ,
hence, abt 2 schools wld be grouped into the same session.

BTW, is there any invitation card / letter for parents to attend ?
We hv signed up but hv not rec'd anything yet, so am wondering
can parents just turn up just like dat?

this teacher-meet-student thingy could be unique to DS' school....so your DS' school may not have the same session (?)

As for Fri's exhibition, I understand there are 2 sessions allocated to the schools. Sorry I have no info re invitation follow up as I am not attending.

Do you mean the IRS Exhibition next week ? Dun think we need any invitation card ... since we have already signed up for it.
