In-law problems?

MMM:
Hi 5, my sil also inherited pils' genes. I could never understand a single lady in her 40s could have so many things, to the extend that her junks are over her room, n there is only a walkpath to her bed from the door. :yikes: she can have more things than me n my 3 kids. Same with my pil's room. I always closes my eyes when i passes by their room, if not, i will get mad fm seeing all the junk. FIL, claim that he need a study room, n use that room to store his things til there is no walk space in the room. :faint:
Oh yes... we realised that dh's eldest sis seems to have inherited pils' genes.... as we used to stay in the same development, she inherited some of our stuff that we wanted to throw away eg. shoe racks, chairs, etc... she also asked for the lights in one of the bedroom and we replaced it with a simple light. Till the extent that bil was like.... :faint: haha obviously he is not the karang guni type..... But she is ok we just let her take whatever....
Well... so much for the sharing.... But yes we are still staying together rather harmoniously. Just got to laugh off some of these stuff and close one/ two eyes. With such mindset, life will be happier.
But now, they store their things in living room, kitchen, storeroom n everywhere. I am going mad. I can only put my things n kids things in my room  -
Some mothers-in-law are really too much…with DIL, they want to boss them…yet, can’t control own daughters.
My father’s sister…fierce and bossy with DIL…yet with her own daughter, she cannot handle her. Like hubby’s sister, she can go home in the wee hours of the morn…but with her sons, she sets curfew. -
My in laws like to open their door wide and switch on the aircon. :faint:
Any solutions? After repeated closing the door for them, tell them.... And worst, when i tell them we are paying higher electricity bill every mth, mil can say, cos tariff increase mah. But i am refering to the chart that reflect the exact amt of electricity we use monthly. -
SAHM Chew:
change the door system, ask a quote from any contractor to put the mechanism to have the door auto close... if i were u, i would rather pay for a new door just once than to pay higher bills every mth never ending...My in laws like to open their door wide and switch on the aircon. :faint:

those PIL are just being difficult with whatever they have control over... the things they do does not serve any purpose most of the time, it is more to satisfy their own ego... so that they can boast in front of their friends...Some mothers-in-law are really too much...with DIL, they want to boss them...yet, can't control own daughters.

Wonder why most of us here are women having in-law problems. What about the men? Don't they have issues with their in-laws too and voice out their grievances? Maybe men see things differently or simply just 'bo chap'? :scratchhead:

I guess men are not so nit-picking as we women are, that’s why they dun have much issues with in-laws.

Hmm, thanks for suggesting. But auto close door may not be a solution, as the air con is not on 24 hrs. So the door need to be open when the aircon is off.

My DH has no problem with my dad, :rotflmao: i think cos they do not see each other often. Even they see each other, they do not talk more than 10 sentenses. If i can see my PIL once in a blue moon, and chat less than 10 sentenses, i will not have any issue too... :rotflmao: -
My hubby doesn’t have problems with my parents…they are easy-going with him…I see his parents once a in purple moon…and keep it SHORT.
