Sorry cant be of much help. But if you go thru some of the earlier posts in this thread, you may find some lead eg Ichiban etc.

Also there is a student care near the school gate (also mentioned by one of the posts here)

Giving away uniforms: Last year, the SV Youth Alumni had an old textbook and old uniform collection exercise. Their first time and the response was overwhelming. This year, I didn’t hear anything but I rang the school. Old textbook collection exercise is over but for old uniforms, I was told I can leave them with the General Office anytime.


PV : Best to ask your friend to call the school direct. Due to balloting within 1km for phase 2B this year, there has been some major changes in the PV programme.

Am I the only one who thinks that the canteen food charging $1 for a plate of nasi lemak is too much for a primary school??


Heard that other schools (may not be the majority) that the food is charged at $0.50 per plate.

Well, it all depends on the level your child is in and what kind of responsibilites or cca he or she has in school.

I know that prefects have leadership camps in either March or June holidays. There is one in the coming March holidays - but I'm not sure for what level.

My children who are ex-students have been asked by the prefect-mistress to help out in the camp - that's how I come to know about it.

Hi, I am a newbie here. I have a DD due for P1 registration this year and I am thinking of putting her in South View (phase 2A2), but I’m concerned that the school bus timing as I am staying near Jurong West St 75. Does anyone know roughly how long is the school bus journey (in terms of timing) from Jurong West to SVPS? Thanks!
