      Hi all,

Does anyone knows when can we give away used uniforms? Checked with South View, they dun have this practice to help to gather and give way...
I just dropped the old uniforms at the general office this week.

Am I the only one who thinks that the canteen food charging $1 for a plate of nasi lemak is too much for a primary school??

Heard that other schools (may not be the majority) that the food is charged at $0.50 per plate.

          :?

Well, it all depends on the level your child is in and what kind of responsibilites or cca he or she has in school.

I know that prefects have leadership camps in either March or June holidays. There is one in the coming March holidays - but I'm not sure for what level.

My children who are ex-students have been asked by the prefect-mistress to help out in the camp - that's how I come to know about it.

Hi, I am a newbie here. I have a DD due for P1 registration this year and I am thinking of putting her in South View (phase 2A2), but I’m concerned that the school bus timing as I am staying near Jurong West St 75. Does anyone know roughly how long is the school bus journey (in terms of timing) from Jurong West to SVPS? Thanks!

Check the school website for the bus operator’s number and contact them directly. You’ll get the most accurate information that way.

                    Hi all,

Would like to know of your opinion on this matter or how would you take this or advise your child, should your child encounter such situation.

My DD and her friend was walking out of the school towards the school gate when a senior boy came running from behind (playing with his friend), suddenly shove her friend while shouting ‘GET LOST!’

Luckily her friend did not fall but the girls were taken aback from it.

When my DD told me this, I’m not sure how to respond. I just told her to move aside and let the boy pass-by. But she said it happens so fast that they didnt even have time to react.

My concern is that it may be a mishap waiting to happen. Or is this boy has the making of a bully or just plain rude and inconsiderate?

                    What say you all?

As adults, we encounter such things all the time too. We get speeding cars coming right up behind us and flashing their headlights to tell us slow coaches to move out of their way. How do we deal with such incidents ourselves? I would choose to calmly stay my course, as long as I'm driving at the speed limit, and let the guy simmer behind before finally filtering off to another lane to speed away. Just knowing that I pissed off an a-hole can make my day 🙂
