Actually if only my gal is as self driven as your kids I would be happy. Even if my gal score badly and she feels sad i would be happy because this means she is driven and I personally think its positive trait. She could have set a goal and because she couldn’t achieve it, she feels sad that’s when we come in to encourage and motivate her to do better next round. But my gal don’t really bother about her results. If the results are bad, it didn’t bother her one bit. This type of child very hard to motivate. Sometimes I m at end wits.

She got back most of the results except Science
Maths = Band 1
English = Band 2
Chinese = Band 3

I am disappointed as she is playful and did not put in much effort :stupid:

DD’s results are coming in bits and pieces. Ironically, Oral and Comp are the first papers done weeks ago and we are still not getting the results for that. But looking at the rest of her results, think same like in SA1. Band1 for English, Math & Science, Band 2 for Chinese and HCL.


Now gotta wait for her report card to see how she fared against the rest of her cohort. That I think will be a better guage of DD’s standard.

Don't be too affected. Is this her first major exam? A lot of schools did away with exams at P1 & 2 and this is afterall their 1st/2nd exam experience. Maybe the papers are really tough and the rest of the cohort are getting similar results.

I did not keep any of the P1 or 2 stuff. I think I will be keeping P3 Science stuff. Will still dump the rest.

Last nt DD was crying in bed, saying she does not feel good abt her English band 2. Hv to cuddle her an assure her that it is not the end of the world. Told her if you fall, get bruises, put a plaster on, and march forward, don't look back,you might fall again, it's just an obstacle we hv to over come.


Came home today wz a big smile Maths, Science, and Chinese all highend Band 1.

I am very happy wz her results. :rahrah:
