        Hi,

It’s probably caused by Autoimmune Disorder. It’s her immune system attacking her body joints/tissues/organs. Autoimmune Disease affecting more female than male (95%) Usually occur at the young age. There is no known cause to it; but it’s observed as the immune T-cells and the RA Factor have been set off by some other infection, i.e Flu viral or bacteria infection.

It’s advised that she goes to a Rheumatoid Arthritis Specialist, to have her blood test for RA Reactor count to determine her cause of arthritis.

There are a few of this RA Specialists in private practice or you may get a referral to TTSH’s RA dept.

        Take care.

          Hi mamago,

Thanks for your advise. In fact, we did the blood test for her last week and it showed that she has Juvenile Arthritis. She was on pain killer for the past 2 weeks and developed rashes on her body that caused by the drug.

We have also injected steroid to her joint but it does not seem to get any better.

I have managed to find a doctor who is a Juvenile Arthritis specialist also senior consultant in K K Hospital and they have prescribe a new medicine for us.

She will be doing an eye check up next week because the Juvenile Arthritis will lead to blindness. We also need to do an eye check-up on her every 6 months.

                Hi kiasu2008,

Re doctors- Maybe you may want to just note down for future reference? Dr Yvonne See (64635001, clementi arcade). She is a paediatric rheumatologist and has written published papers on JA. She used to be at KKH but is now in private practice and alternates between her clinic at Clementi arcade and Gleneagles.

                  Another FAKE review!

Such a coincidence to have a clairesing and a troydy with both accounts created on 20 March 2024 to be singing praises of the SAME doctor in 2 separate posts, posted a few minutes apart.

Tsk tsk. At least make a bigger effort and hide it better like the others. So easy to spot!
