Isn’t better?
Most teachers still ask students to return on the 1st week of holidays.
Hopefully, in 2013, teachers don’t do that again in the already shortened holidays. -
A while back, one airline was having 2-for-the-price-of-1 promo that is valid till Mar 31. I counted 10 weeks from the start of the year, and almost bought tickets for the "March holidays".
Fortunately, I double checked MOE website and found that term 1 is actually 10.5 weeks long. So that extra half week in term 1 eats into the year end holiday. -

Isn’t it suppose to be 10 weeks per term? So the 0.5 goes to where?

Term 1 starts from week 0 instead of week 1 -
