Just an update from my recent trip, the premium platform was fully booked so we we were unable to upgrade to it.

The regular platform is not near enough to allow the kids to appreciate the penguin swimming up the shore as it was rather distant and dark.

On hindsight, the premium platform was rather expensive, A$22 per pax, kids have to pay too. It was raining and was very cold and we almost abandon the penguin parade as the kids were getting wet, so were glad we didn't upgrade.

But the kids did get to watch the penguin up-close when walking back up the platform from the side.

Overall, a good and unique experience.

      Glad you like it πŸ™‚
Hope the rest of the trip was great too πŸ™‚

Need advice on bringing children medicine into Melbourne. I would normally bring along bottles of cough syrup, running nose medicine in liquid form, Parecetamol and Brufen. Can we bring these into Melbourne? Any one has experience in bringing these when holidaying with young children there?

          Thanks in advance,
          Xiaohu

Yes. Just declare accordingly. Pack inside check-in luggage, not hand carry.

Hi, we will be going to Melbourne in early Dec with dds aged 3 and 5. Thinking to visit some fruit farms which can allow people to pluck fruit. Is there any to recommend? Thanks.

You can check the weather here.

Unlike SG where it's usually sunny and hot and humid, it's quite diff there as it can be cool and dry but the sun scorches you skin.
