Hi everyone, really torturing to wait for the sec posting day.Just want to hear fr experience wat is the chances like for dsa admitted already(other sch not RI) to appeal for RI with score 269? :nailbite:
This is above the COP. From last year observation, RI do accept a few who were offered a place at other school thru DSA. My son has a few classmate who appeal and got in. I believe they do not need to take other test. In fact, you can do it before the posting results. You might want to call RI office to check. I understand from my son that they do allow those DSA students to appeal before posting results. -

Just wondering, those accepted into DSA, do they also have to submit S1 form ?qi-er:

There isn't a need to submit S1 form.Just submit your choice of 3rd lang cos the form straight away state congrats for admitting into XXX sch.We appealed at RI straight after 26nov but was told will only get to know outcome after 23dec.So will need to report at dsa sch 1st on 23dec. -

If they dont submit, how does MOE knows whether the kid got accepted ?VitoRelax:

NO
The school must inform MOE ? Bcos before the mass allocation program is run, the vacancies left must be known before the allocation software is run -

Last year, they call the DSA appeals before the registration day. I remember we saw a few of my son's primary school classmate last year during registration day. They were not successful for RI DSA but was offered a DSA place in NUSH. Their T-Score is on the upper 26X. They might change their system this year.VitoRelax:

Was told (on 26nov)by RI tt we might have an early offer b4 22dec but DH called 2 days ago & was told most probably after 23dec cos too many appeals.
