Dear Parents, my DD is entering P1 next yr and her Sch bookshop is selling Firefly ergonomic bag. May I know if any of your children has used Firefly before and what is the feedback on this bag?

      Thank you. πŸ™‚

My son uses that for 2 years till now in P2. But will be changing from P3 next yr. Some parts not so lasting, like its edges, will break and the plastic frame inside will protrude out. For safety, I have to cut it off. The handle will not last too if weight is heavy and keep lifting the bag using the handle. So it can at most last 2 years or so. Overall, it's light, ergonomic, nice looking and has big capacity but prepared to change in about 2 years.

Dear Tim Tim, thank you for your feedback. I went to Popular bookshop yesterday to check out the Firefly bag. It looks oversized on my DD. Have u had any feedback on Deuter Genius or Impact Junior? :udaman:

Deuter Genius has 3 sizes. Size Small os prefect for P1 if the kid is small build. But if u intend to let ur kid use it for years, size S may not be able to fit ur requirement if there are more books to bring in the later years.

I've no experience with Deuter bags and my son's next bag is Dr Kong. Cheers!

Have you tried Satch available with ergokid in Wheelock or Kid2youth in Suntec City? The Satch is a German bag and comes with a frame to distribute weight load and protect the back.
