hehe Jasmsy, when I'm fat, he says \"more to love\", when I'm fit & trim he says \"more desirable\" - guess we both need more \"tuition\" in family planning!!

The first month is most difficult. I've been struggling with my weight eversince the birth of my first kid. 10kg overweight. It was only after 3rd child that I really put in the discipline & commitment to be fit. After the 3 months of working out, I kept receiving lots of compliments from friends. I also inspired hubby to work out with me. He lost 8kg in 2 months!!! So sickening. But boy, he looks sooo yummy.... SO we both became yummy mummy and yummy hubby. Our reward become baby No 4. :rotflmao:

I was working out with a Personal Trainer twice a week & pilates once a week and I must say that once you hit 3 times a week (one hour each time) and watch your diet (but can still eat occasional mee pok & ice cream), you'll definitely start getting trim again in 2-3 months. By 5months, I had lost 8 kgs but also gained 4 kgs of beautiful looking biceps, triceps, slimmer thighs & even got 4 nice looking abs!!!
Envious!!! Share share your personal trainer's contact 😄

I've been going to the gym for 7+ months 3 to 5 times a week doing circuit training. My gym in-house trainer changed my workout every month but I hardly lost any weight, only achieved slight toning. Going on low carb diet helped me to lose 3kg, however still very far from my (ambitious) target BMI 😢

Try googling "Fit Yummy Mummy" - her interval and strength training routines are great. 15 minutes a day.

                  Hi,

What is the circuit training like, please? Is it like the traditional method where you rush from one station to another to work different body parts without rest in between?

75 mins of circuit training sounds frightening!!

                    Hello, all!

After hitting my thirties, even looking at food makes me gain weight. Bah. i decided to start exercising again cos the kids keep bugging me to make pizza, pineapple tarts and other yummy-yums, so I gained TONS of weight cos I had to 'taste-test'. ha ha

Anyway, because I have no helper and there's still a baby at home, I can't really hit the gym or go for exercise classes, as much as I would like to. So, I wake up at around 545am to do this exercise programme called T-Tapp. (http://www.t-tapp.com) It is an exercise DVD that you can order from America (I am totally not involved in the company at all!). I like it as I can do it at home and have a choice of a 15-min, 30-min or 45-min workout. Trust me- it is really pretty strenuous as the point of that system is the 'push yourself to the max'. So far, I've lost 1.5kg in about 3 weeks. Woo hoo!

It's good for people who want to rehabilitate their knees and spine, too. It doesn't involve the use of weights as it uses the body as a weight-bearing mechanism instead, so that means that all one needs is a pair of sports shoes and a bit of living-room space to get started! My friend bought the dvd after hearing me rave about it and we both agree that it really changed our body shape; leaner and more toned! Busy mummies and daddies can check it out. 😄

Brisk walking 5 times a week is a good and easy way to lose fats. But you have to do for duration of at least 30mins each time. 🙂

1 hour 15 mins is the total time I spend in gym.

My typical routine begins with pre-exercise stretching, warm up on either stationary exercise bike or elliptical trainer, then circuit training (yes, from one station to another station), follow by dumb bells & finally cool down by doing floor stretching exercises on mat.
