How do you find the orientation?
I was :scared: to see the long queue outside the school gate when we arrived. Well, it does keep pace and prevent over cluttering at the concourse where the students councillors lead the kids to their respective class.
Maybe this was my second time attending the orientation, pretty standard type of briefing so kinda of \"dreaming\" through it  . Went to the washroom and found it amusing on how the student councillors helped the younger kids in the toilet
..
My DS commented that they missed the eco-garden and the library was closed  but he is happy to see the computer lab (probably thinking he can play computer games  ). Nevertheless, the orientation was over after I finished completing the student forms. Briefly talked with the teacher in charge and it turned out she should be their form teacher.
Since 1A1 has the lead advantage to complete the forms
, we quickly proceeded to the canteen for the book and uniform purchase. Was done in 15minutes.sdgaL:

Went to the hall to fetch my daughter after completing the forms but they have not arrived so went to buy books 1st. After that, we q up from uniform...
The form teacher? U met him/her?
Do we need to pack the books that are listed in the papers where it indicate the form teacher may collect from the students? :scratchhead: -
The teacher in charge that handed over your kid after the orientation in the hall should be the form teacher
. The first day of school should be pack light. I remembered receiving \"what to bring\" list 2 years ago for my DD and vaguely remembered it consisted of the purple file, student diary, a story book and stationeries. They will receive time table within the first 2 weeks.sdgaL:

Parents with kids from P3 and aboveβ¦
Letβs discuss about CCA. My DD will be in P3 next year and I would like to know some information regarding the CCAs in SQPS. Please shareβ¦ -
jon00:
Usually the CCA will be on Wed or Fri, but uniforms group such as Girls Brigade on Sat morning. They encourage kid to take 1 CCA but will not prevent those from taking 2 if timing is ok. Popular ones such as Edison Club maybe need ballot.Parents with kids from P3 and above....
