Impact is heavier and also bigger.

Deuter Genius has 3 sizes. Size Small os prefect for P1 if the kid is small build. But if u intend to let ur kid use it for years, size S may not be able to fit ur requirement if there are more books to bring in the later years.
:udaman: Dino mummy for your feedback.

U're welcome. One more merit of Firefly is its reflective material for safety at night as it reflects lights from vehicles. I've no experience with Deuter bags and my son's next bag is Dr Kong. Cheers!
Thanks and Cheers! :thankyou:

Was at Jcube just now. Saw this store selling sports equipment beside Challenger. There is a 30% discount…saw this bag which is boyish and importantly, son likes it very much. I fell in love with the color combination.

            $69.90.

kid2youth has a wide range of school bags... ergobag, derdiedas, deuter, dr kong, and totem. i like the totem as it's very affordable with starting price at $89 with 2 yr warranty some more. it has a welded base which means that it can withstand wear and tear and can sit on the floor without toppling, unlike some other popular brands.

Hi, has anyone heard or bought the Buddy school bag? I found it on Google and on a few website reviewing it. Just wondering if any of you can share about your experience. I heard it’s a Singapore product.

How about Impact and SPI? I see them almost everywhere in the department stores but they don’t look very nice. But then again, I’m not sure if ergonomic bags are supposed to look nice. Can anyone share?

I am surprised my son's SPI bag lasted for 4 years...and it was so heavy bcos of the books...he simply refused to pack it everyday, bringing everything.
Anyway, I am keeping it so that I can do a trade-in for my daughter when hers is too small. Of late, I have been crazy over Deuter.

Dear parents, SPI bags are on sale til this weekend with $30 to $40 off at Kinderfun. There is an outlet at United Square, heard that Centrepoint has one too. Hope this info is helpful for parents buying ergo Sch bags for your kids. I saw a number of nice designs. 😄
